In my large-scale piece, The Palatine of the Great Sky, one of my senior theses, I explore the spiritual significance of the Milky Way and other bodies in our celestial neighborhood throughout human history through literature, religious text, art, and scientific investigation while experimenting with texture, light, papermaking, and other fiber techniques to herald some of the processes that have shaped the universe we inhabit.
