Handmade paper from celestial handbook pages, risograph, acrylic paint, embroidery floss

Along with the tapestry I made for my thesis exhibit, I created an artist book entitled Heavenly Bodies. This artist book utilizes religious text and the same handmade paper, made from the pages of Burnham's Celestial Handbook: An Observer's Guide to the Universe Beyond the Solar System that I used in my tapestry to call to the constant recycling of materials throughout the universe since the beginning of time. Paired with this text are risograph printed photographs taken by various space telescopes such as the Hubble Space Telescope, the James Webb Space Telescope, etc.
